Frequently asked questions

Playing
Is Gamesupa free?
Yes. Every game is free to play. The site shows a small number of ads, which pay for hosting and new games.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The games run in your web browser. Open the site on your phone, tablet or computer and tap a game to start. Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox all work.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no log-in. You can start playing the moment the page opens.
Can I play with a friend?
Yes. Carrom, Chess and Tic Tac Toe have a friend mode for two players on one device, and in Ludo and Snakes & Ladders you set each colour to a person or the computer, for up to four players. You play on the same phone or computer and pass it between turns. There is no online play over the internet yet.
How hard is the computer?
The computer plays a good game but makes mistakes, just like a real opponent. In Carrom its aim is not perfect, and in Ludo it sometimes picks a weaker move. In Chess and Tic Tac Toe you also choose Easy, Medium or Hard. With a little practice you can beat it.
Can I play offline?
After you have opened a game once on the live site, your browser keeps a copy, so it usually loads again without an internet connection.
Can I add Gamesupa to my home screen?
Yes. On Android, open the browser menu and tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app". On iPhone, tap the Share button in Safari and choose "Add to Home Screen". The site then opens full screen like an app.
Scores and saved games
Where are my scores saved?
In your browser, on your own device. We never receive them. Your best 2048 score and your wins in the other games show on the home page.
Why did my scores disappear?
Scores live in your browser's storage, so they are removed if you clear your browsing data, use a private or incognito window, or switch to another browser or phone. Scores don't move between devices.
If I close a game halfway, is it lost?
No. Every game saves after every move. Open the game again and you continue where you stopped.
Problems
A game is slow or won't load. What can I do?
Reload the page first. If that doesn't help, update your browser and close other tabs. Still stuck? Tell us your phone or computer model and browser on the contact page.
The page scrolls while I swipe in 2048.
Swipe on the board itself. The board blocks scrolling, but the area around it scrolls the page as usual.
